Bite your tongue he said to me
While nipping at my toes
A keyboard lay there silently
The candle burns and then it glows
I’m swept away by his soft words
Quickly drying up my tears
As if a load is taken back
A halfpence trade for years
My neck begins to slowly flush
My heart just skips a beat
My love for him continues on
He is my heart’s sweet treat
I pinch myself to make sure now
that this is all true life
when suddenly he asks me if
I want to be his wife.
