No patriarchal attitude can crack her hardened shell
No mosquito nor a bumblebee can pierce or make her swell
Spontaneity and sheer surprise embolden her facade
With the proclamation that earthly men are not her greatest God
No profit does this bring her despite her salary
The dividend is freedom, the way she chose to be
And at the root of her soul, a life collides inside
For she is both a woman, a mother, and a bride.

Great poem, I love that final line. It hits with a real punch

Yes, sometimes, well a lot of times, women are not given credit for all that they do.
