With each passing week
my heart still aches
remembering my son
is all that it takes
to bring me to tears
with each brand new day

Memory is a strange thing – we remember and it seems to bring the past into the present. Both the good and bad memories are made available to the mind and heart…. The trick is dwelling on the good and not the bad which is easier said than done, especially when the hurt is so deep. Hugs.
