I get into a “rut” with one form of poetry or another and it really is more fun to play with all the different types.

I’m just working on a new monthly series with poetry forms I’ve never tried

I think I did that once, not by myself, but someone would offer a new form each day. It is fun and challenging. I have to admit though that although I like writing it, I am not a good reader of poetry. I like it but I don’t often see the meaning behind the words. A few times I would ask David if he could figure out what a poem was about and he would answer with something that sounded absolutely spot on. I just don’t have a knack for it.
