Hard to beat squirrels for cuteness, but I like the feather. As for garbage, my question is if you pick up your dog’s poop but leave the bag, does it really count? 🙂 I say no.

Hahaha! It is amazing how many people do not pick up their dog’s poop. But now that you mention it, can I ask you a question? Here’s the scenario…I’m walking the dog. He poops. I pick it up in the bag, knot the bag, and continue walking. Today is garbage day (it is the only day I would consider this). There is a garbage can half open since it is jammed full. Can I put my poop bag in their garbage can? I don’t need to open their can.

Good question. I think so but I’m not sure how others would feel about it. You’re not doing anything that hurts their garbage or even opening their garbage can.

I’ve done it once or twice but I feel funny about it. The only reason I have done it is when the dog poops at the very beginning of the walk. I don’t know…One of the times I did it, the owner of the house walked right out. I know he saw what I did. He didn’t say anything but I pictured him running after me with the little bag yelling that it’s not his and stay out of his garbage!!!

I get that. I might feel that way if I were him also but I would try not to. 🙂 I don’t even mind if someone leaves the bag along the way as long as they pick it up on the return trip. Of course I never know if that’s why a bag is still sitting there but…

Don’t you just love the bees in a morning glory! I have so many photos and the light that comes out of the middles of them makes me wonder if the bees have been in fairyland!
