Before the moon drops to reveal a new day, the raven sits and waits to see if death will be coming to call.
This lonely raven caws softly, hoping to fly soon, as the sky starts to brighten.
Tonight is a good night, the raven continues to sit, death is nowhere near; a quiet night is a fine-spun night of peace.
