The trip was going to be a great one complete with people with common interests who desire to challenge themselves.
No one knew they would be carrying the bikes rather than riding them.
This was one of the best tests the group could have imagined and felt proud knowing that they would conquer the obstacle and endure.

Before the moon drops to reveal a new day, the raven sits and waits to see if death will be coming to call.
This lonely raven caws softly, hoping to fly soon, as the sky starts to brighten.
Tonight is a good night, the raven continues to sit, death is nowhere near; a quiet night is a fine-spun night of peace.

Sink or Float

If I were to swim to the edge of the foam I am not sure if I would stay afloat or sink.
No one ever told me what to do when the water was clear and it looked like you could fall forever.
Perhaps I will stay in this foam, where I know I am safe, amongst my peers, floating above some foreign land.
