I leave

When I walk out, I leave it there…

I leave my thoughts

I leave my feelings

I leave my hopes

I leave my dreams

I leave them in an empty room

And hope they might be there

When I return.

we enter the room empty but when we depart we leave these behind and they fill the room – expanding and thriving until we return and hug them as long lost children!
