Good Acting

When we walked out to the mezzanine

My eyes were filled with joy

For there upon the stage below

Was my own born baby boy.

He had his hair brushed to the side

As his father taught him how

He had his tie done up real tight

To stay tied while he took a bow.

He knew that he was there to act

And acting is what he did

He didn’t have to finagle his crew

They were proud of this young kid.
