Thursday writing prompt

Strolling

Through the deep woods we go strolling

Sweetly talking of love and hope

Silent ‘cept the sound of our feet

Although air is humid, we cope.

Yellow lilies bloom in the brush

Waving so softly in the wind

Love blossoms here alongside us

Happily showing there’s no end.

  1. Thanks for the reblog, Christine, and thanks so much for participating in my writer’s prompt for my second Thursday of the month this month. I will also share this as a Special Saturday post this coming Saturday to be sure my readers see it, since you are the first and only one to participate for this prompt so far.

    1. Well, that is really nice of you. For me, if I take time to think too much, nothing happens. I have to write what I can feel immediately. I do have a lot of unfinished work on my computer due to this little problem, lol

Here is the first response to this month’s writing prompt which was posted on Thursday, July 9th. I hope you all enjoy it, and I hope you will be encouraged to try your hand at writing something for this prompt as well.

  3. Okay, so I “reblogged” it, and it actually posted today, Thursday, July 9th, above my Writing Prompt post. But that’s okay. I hope my readers will enjoy and be inspired to try to write something when they see it. Thanks again!
