Quadrille: d’verse Poets pub

Here’s what to do:

  • Write a Quadrille : a poem that is EXACTLY 44 words long, not including the title.
  • And the poem itself must include the word “silly” or a form of the word (ie silly, silliness, silly-how).
  • Post the poem to your blog AND add the exact URL for your poem to Mr. Linky below.
  • REMEMBER to either TAG dVerse in your post, or include a link at the end of your poem that leads readers back to dVerse (https://dversepoets.com). https://dversepoets.com/2020/05/04/lighten-up-a-bit/

Super silly sammy

Super silly Sammy
loved to take a bath.
He loved to use his bubbles
He’d count them using math.

One day silly Sammy
ran out of liquid soap
He tried to use the bar kind
but man, he couldn’t cope.

Bar soap doesn’t bubble.

    1. That was sort of in memory of my son…he was a math wiz. Got a perfect 800 on Math SAT’s. He actually helped his college professor with some trouble in his Differentials class. I don’t even know what Differentials are!
