Simon’s voyage
A long, long time ago there was a man who thought that crossing the sea would mean freedom from his king. He planned for many weeks to make sure he had all the provisions he needed. All of this done in secrecy for if the king found out, he was surely going to the guillotine.
This man, Simon, was young and full of energy. He knew he needed at least four months of food for him and his crew of eight. They would need fresh water and a pit for burning wood.
When alas the journey began, Simon and his crew were headed West to find new land. With the raging seas and the storm clouds, Simon knew this was going to be a voyage to freedom, freedom from the king or freedom from life here on earth.

Thanks for being a part of the challenge.

There are times when one must face that very thing. Each one of us is on a heroes journey. I hope he and crew make it to their destination alive. Cood story, Christine.
