Time to say goodbye
Beneath the wolf moon
we wait for the day
that the good Lord comes
to take her away
to bring her to peace
to let her find rest
saying goodbye
in a happy way’s best.

My stepmom is done battling cancer. Telling her about Hospice has been the first thing to make her smile in weeks. Bittersweet but she said she has lived a good life and is ready to leave.
