Saturday Mix – Rhyme Time, 14 November 2020

Join the fun here: https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/19271780/posts/3021635742

You will be given six rhyming words* and need to use all of them (but not limited to these) in your response, which should be a poetry form of your choice. *Homophones can be used as alternatives to the challenge words. Our rhyming words this week are:

  1. plough
  2. thou
  3. bough (or bow)
  4. vow
  5. brow
  6. wow

A Really Good Friend

As I plough through life

I vow to be

A friend to thou

As you are to me.

I bow my head

And scrunch my brow

Amazed at your friendship

Wanting to say “wow”.

    1. Thanks Jules! I am writing a memoir of sorts and I am going to use a pen name if that is what it would be considered. I really want to put the truth out in words but worry about my daughter and how she might feel especially since most of it is going to be about losing her father and brother. I don’t know how it works though in trying to publish. I’m sure I will figure it out someday…I’ve got plenty to write before I have to worry about it.

      1. I’ve got at least two maybe three emails for you… the one that’s on your about page (That’s the one I used) and others… Let me know which one you’d prefer me to use if you want me to switch or if the one I’ve used is OK. ~Thanks.

      2. I actually have an account set up in my nom-de-plume 🙂
I also created one (though I don’t use it much) for store ads – mostly so I can ignore them and they don’t fill up my regular use emails.
