Life’s Truths
In the winter you freeze
in the spring you melt
these are the cards
we’re automatically dealt.
Before you rest
you must finish work
just because
your boss’s a jerk.
These are life’s truths
believe it or not
Or at least what I think
and that’s what I thought.
