How cool is this flight of fancy? Your flash evokes flight; flying to heaven, the flight of faeries. And also the first flight of trust and belief as the child becomes uncertain of what she’s told by adults.

One of the first things I thought of was how children are “taught” that Heaven is the clouds. When my husband died in 2018 I remember flying down to stay at my dad’s for a couple days and when we were up in the air I started bawling my eyes out because no one was up there! Silly but it struck me at that moment.
