Off to market

She skipped through the fields 
on a beautiful day 
off to the market  
where she oft used to stay. 

She loved all the bustle  
of people around 
she loved to see treasures 
that other people had found. 

One of the booths  
she had yearned so to go 
was a skilled, handsome painter 
Sort of like Van Gough! 

His colors were lovely 
His scenes bright and rich 
Sho brought him some baked goods 
maybe he’d switch?
