I think everyone deserves a second chance but that doesn’t mean they have to take it! People screw up in life and sometimes just do dumb things. If they feel badly about what they did, they will show remorse. If they don’t care one way or another, then why should I? It is almost like saying thank you. Thank you for what? Forcing youngsters to say thank you means nothing unless they know what they are thankful for. Sometimes you’ll get a little one that says they are not thankful! Haha, so cute!

Anyhow, I don’t believe that coercion or other means of forcing someone are giving a second chance. I think if that is the case then we need to reexamine our needs. Maybe it is us that wants the second chance. Maybe we want better for someone else. Well, you can’t want it more than they do!

Overall, if they want it, I’d give a second chance, but I’m not begging anyone to let me give them a second chance.
