Today I would like you to take inspiration from the words like plague, pestilence, and pandemic, and write a poem to console us in this time of the Corona. https://dversepoets.com/2020/04/07/poetics-in-the-time-of-the-plague/
Sickness
Sometimes it’s rats and sometimes it’s fleas
no matter the type, it’s an awful disease.
No thought to the place of where it came from
No idea if your actions were careless or dumb.
So now here we sit with a virus to spread
so many people, some who are dead.
Keep your hands washed as told by the doc
Soon this will end, and the sickness we’ll mock.

I like to look at this like the movie Ground Hog Day. I am hoping at the end things will be better. Thanks for the poem.

That is a good way to think about it because it has happened before.

Washing your hands and staying at home when you’re sick will solve a lot.
