Is this real?

If this pandemic was fiction  
would we all still be locked in  
away from those whom we love  
praying to our own God above?  
 
If this pandemic is real  
then why do I have to feel so 
lost in a crowded, crazy world  
with sorrow and sickness unfurled? 
 
I hope someday soon we see 
that this is how life’s supposed to be 
just the peace and helpful part 
giving of your mind and heart.
