Gratitude

Share something you are grateful for right now.  I know that’s a tough question.  It helps to share those bright bits with folks though, because many of us are seeing through an increasingly dark glass. I am grateful for my daughter. Despite her being 21 and wanting to move on and become an adult, she grounds me and makes me remember the good in my life.

I am grateful for my house. Before my husband passed away money came a lot easier. Now, that is not the case and if it weren’t for he and I living a pretty nice life, I might not have a pretty safe roof over my head.

  1. I’m grateful that I CAN be grateful–I wasn’t always that way. Depression/anxiety make life hard–particularly in the current state of intensified “unknowns”. But I have faith in God who is loving and good, faithful and everlasting–my anchor in the storm. I’m wondering if we’re permitted to use the little badge thingy which says “Practice Gratitude”? It’s So Pretty, I’d love to have it on my blog 🙂 Blessings to you! ❤

    1. And to you…struggling with depression/anxiety along with Psoriatic Arthritis that hosts a ton of other health problems…I totally understand! Sometimes I think we have to stop and really think for a minute to realize that despite all the other garbage, we do have things to be grateful for. I think almost everyone does. Whether it is some big reason or some small.

      1. Exactly, big or small–find Something!! That’s why I started doing the “Glad Game” (Pollyanna) posts each week…it makes me think and list the big and small, inspiring or humorous “gratitudes”.
