Is it a brush with fate  
you asked me on a date?  
 
Do you intend to stay  
or live your life astray?  
 
Shouldn’t I just count on you  
to be honest and true?  
 
Will our new love survive  
with eagerness and drive?  
 
My brush with fate was true  
The moment I met you  
On that December day  
Our love is here to stay.
