Tanka: Winter Solstice
The day is so short
Especially in the East
Too short to notice
Where the weather has turned cold
And spring is so far away.

Great poem. Sometimes we let the dark days get to us, but spring will be back again. I saw daffodils poking up in my flowerbed this week!!
