Compilation: My brother, the bouncer, and me

There were no singers nor players around
The fact was there wasn’t a sound
The voices were muffled
The footsteps just shuffled
And no instruments there could be found

My brother put on his new vest
He wanted to look like his best
The door was bounced open
My brother kept hopin’
The sound’d bellow right out of his chest

The beast at the bar was a chump
He wanted to give us all a good bump
He said “the cover aint free
Just leave, you’all three
You don’t belong here in this ole dump”

We stopped and we stared and we smiled
He was acting just like a dumb child
So we had an irish dance
The first of our chance
And past the doorman in we all filed.
