1 day
2 ladies
had 3 hours to kill
4 minutes after their
5 day work week
They decided to go 6 blocks
to 7-Eleven
to buy 8 lottery tickets.
9 minutes after getting there
10 customers had come in
When they left it was 11 o’clock
and they had to be home by 12.

A fun prompt response. I say they live bolder and break the 12:00 curfew.

Our days are chopped up by numbers. The tyranny!

I had fun counting along in your story-quadrille, Christine, and the echoes of Cinderella. I hope they had a win on at least one of those tickets.

Reminds me of Cinderella
Loved the count, “1” Day is perfect
Thanks for stopping in, I’m curious where you raised chickens.
We had to bring ours in because the coyotes would get them.
One of my first farm chores was to take those in who wanted
to stay out all night. I used he chicken catcher.

We were in Connecticut when I had them. Some of the times they were able to roam free but often they were in a caged in area. Every night they would all go in to the coop by themselves and I would lock the door. We had one time, right before my husband had passed away, that something got 12 chickens in two days. There was NO damage to the cage or coop and no way to see what slaughtered them all. So strange. And, most of the carcasses were left there which is weird too.
