I usually don’t write religious things, not for any reason either way, but as I wrote this it worked well.
Prayers
Step away
and look real hard
the scene’s been set
They’ve dealt the card
There is no way
of turning back
You have no choice
you’re on this track
So hang on tight
and clasp your hands
your prayers are said
God understands
