I have some that are as big as a dinner plate, others the size of a saucer. The ones they make jamaica tea out of are smaller than the others.

It is tea, usually drunk cold, that is made out of steeping the dried flowers of a certain type of hibiscus in hot water. It is very popular in Mexico.

Are hibiscus’s big flowers? I always wondered that not being able to see them, I don’t know!

I don’t know if there is a “standard” size but this one is probably the same size or maybe slightly bigger than my hand with my fingers splayed out! That is why I bought it, I loved the giant flowers. The colors were not like any other I had seen either with the peachy-orange petals and bright red center.
