Fling us a poem of just 44 words (not counting the title), including some form of the word wing. https://dversepoets.com/2022/11/14/quadrille-164-winging-it/
Betty had a wing, she’s a dove
Hugging was how she showed love
Some others balked
While some people talked
But her hugs felt just like a glove
Look up in the sky
And see Betty fly by
And send her a wave goodbye

Honestly, I was falling asleep and couldn’t come up with anything…I have a bunch of different drafts. Not sure why but whenever I get ready to write I get sleepy.

Nicely done! We can’t always worry what others think!

Good hugging is an art but not all take to it, as you said.

Trying to make it all rhyme within the word limit is very tricky! Thank you!
