Quadrille #164: Winging It

Fling us a poem of just 44 words (not counting the title), including some form of the word winghttps://dversepoets.com/2022/11/14/quadrille-164-winging-it/

Betty had a wing, she’s a dove
Hugging was how she showed love
Some others balked
While some people talked
But her hugs felt just like a glove

Look up in the sky
And see Betty fly by
And send her a wave goodbye
