How do you react, when someone shows to your door, without being invited?
No one has shown up at my door without being invited probably ever. Maybe one of my best friends who was also my next door neighbor, but I never had it happen as far as I can recall.

Only a couple of Mormon boys a few years back … told them I was a Pagan and the rest of the block was too … never saw ’em again. 😀

If it’s an actual visitor, I feel embarrassed, which annoys me. I like planned visits so I can first clean the house. When friends want to visit, I make sure it’s planned.

I have been in a state of “moving” now since 2018 so my home, here or in CT, has been a constant mess. I told my husband that I look forward to the day that everything can be put away and neatened so I wake to a clean home every morning. That is what happened when my kids were little.
