Still One
When there were two
there were so many unknowns
what to do
where to go
how to deal with what life
threw at us.
When there were two
there was no pain
even when
life
was hard.
When there were two
there was no hole
no emptiness
no hurt
only love
Now there is one
there is heartache
there is pain
there are questions
But there is still one.

Thank you very much. Easy to write when it is what you feel.

You capture so poignantly the pain of having to go it alone…
