TODAY’S QUESTIONS
How many drafts do you have in your ” Drafts Folder” right now?
Do you always complete a post that you draft?
Is it a good idea to leave your unfinished drafts hanging around or should you delete them after some time, if so, how long?
For Dr. Tanya’s Blogging Insights: https://saltedcaramel670.wordpress.com/2020/08/31/blogging-insights-44-drafts/
Right now I have 2 drafts in my Drafts folder. 1 is a link to a list of writing prompts and 1 is a poem that I wrote, free verse, but I submitted to a magazine and they didn’t want one that had been published on any sites so it is sitting there….If they don’t want it maybe my WP community will appreciate it!
I almost always complete a post that is drafted or I delete it.
I think the only thing about leaving drafts unfinished is that when you go back to it your mind is in a totally different place so sometimes the writing seems “artificial” or something.
I have only 9. These are either for my Sunday’s posts or for the future like Christmas; etc. And usually, when I get an idea, like my books—I always start with the title first and work my way from there. So far it’s been quite a successful technique.

41. I usually complete them though. Just have to go back and proofread them again before deciding to publish them

It’s really good that you don’t have any unfinished work in queue.

I’m a bit OCD about leaving things unfinished where I can see them all the time. I have a folder on my computer with stuff I started but never got the desire to go back to, but on here I see that Draft number every day!

That is a really good kind of OCD.
