The Crime

When the cops went by 
and saw the glass 
they wondered who 
had no class. 

Was it the guy at night 
who lost his way 
or the teenage kid 
that got away? 

Did the fat man blow 
his bulbous nose 
and take out cash? 
Nobody knows. 

The cops finally said 
just let them go 
We’ll find them someday 
that we know.
