Raise the bar

Why is it so hard to put more effort in 
when all I’m looking for is love. 
They say that lying is a pretty big sin 
and that fits you snug like a glove. 

The challenge in life is loving yourself 
for the truthful person you are 
Take those old habits, put ’em up on a shelf 
it is time that you raise the bar.
