When I was in college, the group of us that hung around together was a fun bunch. When anybody farted they had to yell “Safety”. Not sure where it came from or what, but if I remember correctly it was always the same few people.

Safety

How do I always know 
I am safe  
in your arms 
with the warmth  
of your body 
warming mine 
hands intertwined 
heads down 
eyes closed 
knowing that safety  
is closer than  
we ever knew.
