Aww bless! I remember Maya’s surprise the first tome she saw a rabbit. It ran across the path in front of her and she stopped dead in her tracks! Then tried to see where it had gone!

We see them all the time! And groundhogs, chipmunks, raccoons and possums too! And I can’t forget the deer and turkeys that are strolling around our neighborhood!!!!

Wow! My friend has a pet turkey! She is a wildlife rehabber and someone gave her a random chick. They had no idea what it was but thought it was a pheasant because it was found near a farm. Turned out to be a turkey. She’s funny but sometimes mean. My friend said that she scared off some people walking up the driveway the other day.

My mother had run ins with a turkey as a kid. The farm had a turkey – mean and sneaky. It would wait until she stepped off the porch and then chase her to the bus! She learned to run fast to avoid it pecking her legs and drawing blood! She enjoyed that Thanksgiving more than usual!
