I totally forgot the point of my last post! LOL!

So the Dutchess loves her taxidermy and has multiple stuffed dogs that she brings back and forth between her home in Scotland and her castle. She has stuffed rats that she puts in the rooms for visitors to find! This is funny especially because she says at the beginning that her family hates it.

Years ago I had a therapy dog, Jasmine, who was just the sweetest thing ever! I used to say that I wanted her stuffed so I could have her forever! My family was appalled! I’m glad I’m not the only one! I wish I could talk to her about it!

The Duchess of Northumberland, Jane Percy, is known to have a collection of taxidermy animals, including rats. She has placed taxidermy rats in various spots within the State Rooms at Alnwick Castle, where they are sometimes discovered by visitors.
