I don’t do much with social media anymore. I go on Facebook once in a while to wish someone a happy birthday or if I get a notification that someone had tagged me, usually my daughter, but otherwise I stay away. That being said, the one thing I wish WordPress did have was an optional messaging or chatting piece. There are sometimes that I want to ask another blogger a question but then the only way that I know to do that is to go to one of their posts and put it as a comment. Is there another way? I know I have some email addresses but that too is a pain. I’d rather there just be a little box that I could type my question and be done.
I was watching some youtube videos on illustrating and writing picture books. I have tried so many times but it just comes out ridiculous, I guess because I am not educated in illustration. Then I saw the idea of collage and I thought that might be perfect! Who does that? Jack Ezra Keats? Eric Carle? I don’t know….I’d have to look further.
Last night I made eggrolls again. If you happened to read my comments and you were so lucky to hear me ranting about how my entire eggroll concoction ended up on the floor two nights ago then this will make more sense.

I got a recipe for egg rolls from my sister and they are better than most of the ones we get at the restaurants! Of course it is a little bit of preparation but oh so worth it! Yours filling looks a lot like hers!

Well the second batch of eggrolls is in the fridge, what is left of them! The first batch everything broke even the plastic colander! Anyhow, once in a while I will think of something I want to ask someone and it’s seems weird to go to their site and pick a poem for example to ask about a recipe for baked chicken…that is purely an example!

Understand, the frustration. My best conversations on WordPress have happened when I and someone else were on line at the same time. WordPress has some limits to it and they have gotten rid of things I enjoyed in the past but I just go with the flow. Blessings!
