Well this has been quite the day! My dad fell at his facility. Practically tore his scalp off, broke a neck vertebrae, and huge gash on forehead. Not good news at all. 🙏

So far so good and he is back to flirting with the nurses so recovery will hopefully be fine. He’s got a head of steel! Yesterday I wasn’t so sure but today…steel.

Well, he is finally in a private room and yammering on to himself about who knows what. He is flirting with the nurses which is a good sign. I thought he’d be worse today but he isn’t so that is good.

Very. He looked really bad so it was hard to tell what happened but today he looks a bit better and is super doped up so he is saying he is fine!

Yes, it was worse than I had imagined. I brought him some snacks and a soda thinking he’d be up and ready to go! He is in a private room now under observation and doing okay.

Today he is a little more awake, he hasn’t had pain meds in a while. He at least recognizes that I am someone he knows. Not talking as much gibberish as yesterday.
