Spring onions? What are those? I have tried Tofu a number of times in all consistencies. I do like it in Miso soup but I really don’t like the consistency or the taste. One thing I do love is the vegan noodles they sell here. I want to say they are
Nasoya Pasta Zero Shirataki, Spaghetti Shaped or some variation.
I used to sell Pampered Chef, which is a little overpriced, but there was an apple-peeler-slicer-corer that you would probably love. Put the apple on and turn the handle. The skin came off in a spiral, the apple was cut as a spiral, and the core was taken out. You can find them almost everywhere now.
Are you in the US? I saw once at Sam’s club that they sell a pretty big bag of smaller bagged apple slices, almost what people would put in a lunch box. It is a good idea. I have taught plenty of kids whose families might not even own silverware, let alone a knife for cutting fruit!
Yeah, Kansas. But Walmart, ugh, trying to cut plastic use, has a bunch of them in a plastic tub. They’re also the kind I like: granny smith and, I think, fiji, with citrus juive squirted on them. Very good.
Lately, I’ve been buying Nature Valley, and the Trader Joe’s house brand is great too. Ten grams per bar is enough for me, so I’m not into paying more for the specialty brands…

Yeah, they squirt citrus juice on them so they don’t turn brown for a week.

Yeah, I’ve seen them. With my weak wrists/hands and carpal tunnel I prefer to just buy them already sliced, although peeled would be nice.

According to my grocery app my top 5 are carrots, bread, hummus, cottage cheese and sweet potatoes!

I could use that one too! Aldi has chocolate hummus and it is still quite good for you

Just don’t buy Cliff bars. They have a ton of awful ingredients in them. I read something a while back about it.
