Well to be completely honest, I don’t think the district knows what to do with these kids. My kids haven’t ever really been tested. I mean we have no academic baseline. I don’t get it.
Sad. Sounds like the same reasoning as DJT and COVID – if we don’t test then we won’t have any cases!! If none of the kids are evaluated than we won’t have to provide services!!!
Very good article, Christine. I read most of it, especially the parts about ADHD because I do have that. I don’t think it was recognized when I was in school back in the 1950s and 1960s though. I’m glad it is being studied and recognized now, and students are getting a good education according to their needs. 🙂

Yes, but not all districts are putting that much effort in. I hate to say that but its true.
