You know it warms my heart to come back to check on the blog and see everyone still “around”!
Julian just turned 2 months old last week! He is such a sweetheart!
Well, shoulder update. I ended up writing a very long, detailed email to the HR department at the hospital about how I was treated by the last doctor. Come to find out, that doctor, Dr. Patel, who told me to go find a new hospital, doesn’t even work for the hospital I was planning on going to; he was only filling in! Well, I also made calls to multiple office managers, and today, the one from the Hematology office got back to me. She was apologetic and told me that she had discussed what happened with the head of the department, and he was also appalled. So, tomorrow I’m going for bloodwork and finding out when this surgery might be able to happen.
I only have 5 days left to this school year, well, actually 10, 5 with kids, 5 without. I just found out that teachers in North Carolina only get paid once a month! Yes, ONCE A MONTH! I had never heard of such a thing before. And we don’t get paid over the summer, so next week is my last paycheck until sometime in September!
Okay, my shoulder has had enough of the typing.
I miss you all, my blogging friends and family! I know for sure that when my shoulder is fixed, I will be back to regular visits. It’s just a wonderful place to be!

I’m glad you checked in Christine! Good to see you and I am glad your finally getting somewhere with your shoulder surgery! Hope that can happen very soon for you! Shame you have no paycheck until sept now!

That really was appalling treatment and to find out he wasn’t even an assigned doctor the hospital stinks even more.
Glad you have things almost sorted. The only people here who get paid monthly are usually executives and heads of departments
