I am freelancing and need some actual samples of my editing work, showing corrections, comments, etc. If you have a piece, let’s keep it under 300 words, and if you would like a professional edit, please send it in the comments. I will copy and paste it into a word doc, or send your own word doc to my email address: stinewriting@gmail.com.
I am just using the document as evidence of what I am able to do. I will not include any names or anything like that. I am also not judging anything on anything other than editorial corrections, clarity, flow, etc.

It’s a mix. The pages are polished, some key posts are. Most aren’t. And many could be edited in different ways, depending on media, style, audience etc.
For example this one could be edited for a local newspaper, a family history newsletter, a crafting/farming historical website etc.

Feel free to delve into my blog posts if that helps. There’s 30 years of material there. I used to be a journalist, plus I’ve studied to post-graduate level. On the other hand, there’s farming notes, healthcare writing, family and domestic writing, and poetry with background.

This one is an essay that’s longer than your 300-word limit but the sub-sections could be edited into 300-word briefs, individual blog posts or brief social media posts
