Today is a day to remember….
In 1994, my mother passed away on this date. She was only 51. It was always hard because she didn’t see me get married or have kids. It’s been so long.

In 2011, my mother-in-law, Evelyn (mother to my late husband Bob) passed away at the age of 84.

In 2016, my Aunt Regina, my mom’s little sister, passed away at the age of 79.

Dis all of them pass on the same day in their respective years?

Yes, that is what was so crazy. All December 28th

Christine, the older we get the more funerals we have to attend. That’s natural but when people we love are taken at a young age, it is all the more difficult to endure… Big hugs dear!

My sympathies, Christine. It’s never easy when we lose our mothers, especially one as young as yours.
Did all three of these lovely women pass on the same date? May they all rest peacefully.

My mother passed away at the age of 57 in 1996 on January 31, I’ve out-lived her by ten years thus far. The losses now are too many to even list – but no less painful. Sending you warmth and hugs Christine. ❤️

I think the weirdest thing was when I thought about how I knew my first husband for longer than I knew my own mother! Then you count in the infant/toddler years its even longer!
