Oh, the night we met,
I remember the night we met

Do you remember the night we met?
Oh, the night we met.

We didn’t know that it would mean forever
We hadn’t seen that far into the future

Oh, the night we met
Do you remember the night we met?

The connection was there, an understanding
That this was the last, this meant forever

Oh, the night we met,
I remember the night we met.

You didn’t know how far you would fall for me
I didn’t know how far I’d go to be with you

  • Listen to “Canción Triste” by Jesse Cook from the album Vertigo:
  • If you can’t listen to this track, choose any instrumental piece (with no lyrics) you like — preferably one featuring guitar — and mention the piece you chose in your post.
  • Your poem can be in any form, but should be no more than 20 lines.
  • Instrumental music can spark mood and focus in a way lyrics sometimes can’t. Enjoy the process — I look forward to reading your musical poems!
