Barney’s Parade

Barney marched along with pride
through streets so full of fun
Knowing he was just as good
as every other one
He carried a big flag with joy
His pointed ears up tall
And reveled at the smiles
from crowds who came to call
Little did he know that day
that a new home was to be
and with a family full of love
