So this isn’t a real surprise or big deal in the world of stardom but I just read a bunch of things about Michael Franti and an affair he had, and other allegations. A few years ago, David and I heard Michael Franti and fell in love with his music. We attended a few different concerts and even went on a cruise called SoulShine at Sea that he hosts. Well, after the cruise we were a little disheartened because we felt like he was too much into the marketing end of things, more so than we had previously thought. Anyhow, long story short, a bunch of the other artists we learned of from the cruise have now pulled out of this years upcoming cruise, so many so that they have had to cancel the cruise. It’s just disappointing to hear that someone who preaches so much about family and love and commitment goes and does this.

On a positive note, one of the groups we were introduced to on the cruise is coming to a venue near us and David bought tickets! They are called Lake Street Dive and are just amazing artists!
