write a poem that somehow mentions, is set in, or is motivated by the woods / forest.
When walking through the shaded wood
along a path worn years ago
Wanting peace, or think I should
finding it in woods I know
The smell of pine and rotted leaves
fill my nostrils, fill my mind
Underneath the bows like eves
the shaded earth easy to find
My mind releases pains and fear
my senses open free to feel
to see the beauty, much to hear
my wandering the closing deal

That is definitely what forest walking is about.

Well done for taking the rhythm and rhyme of Robert Frost’s poem and making it your own, Christine. I love the thought of walking ‘along a path worn years ago’. We can always find peace in the woods.

When I was a kid we used to make trails in our back woods all the time. There is something about finding a path!
