Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “jumble.” Use it any way you’d like. Enjoy!
Jumbled Mind
My mind is a whirlwind, my mind is a mess
I’m happy and free, I’m proud to confess
The weather is bright, the wind’s blowing light
But I don’t know which is left or which is my right
I look down to see I’ve muddled my clothes
I do need a shower comes a scream from my nose
I haven’t a meal in nearly a day
What’s going on? I really can’t say
I wander my house looking for company
I can’t find a soul, not a person I see
My belongings are piled in a mess on the floor
My mind is a jumble, I can’t take much more.
I sit down to ponder the current situation
I’ve wasted the day, the sunshine is gone
Time to head to my bed and rest for the night
The vision of bed clothes is a welcoming sight.

Not much of a jumble as this flows delightfully! I love the rhyme too!!

The ending reminds me how much I like sleeping. As children we resisted bed time, now, it’s welcome.
