Here’s your limerick challenge this week. Your word is:
BOWL
I wrote these yesterday but never hit “publish”. Now I read them and they are all about death, so morbid! Sorry!
Meg put her cereal in the bowl
She knew the sugar would take its toll
She ate it quick
That was her trick
And now she has a tummy roll.
Barney had eaten breakfast fast
He hated when the tastes would last
He swallowed quick
In his throat it’d stick
It was only minutes before he passed
Mama saw her son had died
Into her hands she sobbed and cried
He was her son
But now hes done
She went and took her tears outside

I do like how these turned out. It’s interesting how we aim for one way and it somehow turns into something completely different. 🙂

I wrote the second one then realized I left out the word bowl. Once I start with limericks my mind keeps making them. This one was harder because my mind narrowed on “bowl”.

I think that with some of them that is what makes them so funny…or silly I guess!

I have a hard time until I get going then my mind won’t stop and I make limericks in my mind about every thought I have

I think limericks are like pulling teeth for me. I am a little envious that they come easily for you!!
