When I was sent here to study different types of environmental safeguards, I didn’t know I would be bombarded with light pollution! I don’t think anyone could walk through these halls and have any idea if it is night or day. I came here realizing noise pollution wouldn’t be a problem, nor would emissions from the high speed trains, but all the light! I wonder if this lighting has been tested for health and safety? Perhaps it won’t affect the random travellers but did the people who built this structure think about the people who work here every day?

Yes written as fiction but based in truth. Where I am in Florida you would almost never find true darkness outside at night.
